So, I decided to make a brand-new recipe of my own that combines these two great cookies into one perfectly delicious treat! These look and taste amazing! The Birth of the Loaded Oatmeal Raisin Cookie

For some reason, my oatmeal raisin cookies just wouldn’t turn out the same with fresh ground flour It can be hard to find cookie recipes that work well with fresh ground flour. They would have a little different consistency, or they would turn out a little flat or a little too thick. Cookies are one of the main things I used to buy white flour from the store for. I have been searching for cookie recipes that you can use fresh ground flour with. In frustration, I ended up trying to come up with some of my own… This is one of them.

Recipe Notes

Making perfect cookies requires perfect sizing. Dropping a tablespoon of dough can be a real pain without a 1 tablespoon ice-cream style scoop. I use mine all the time and it is GREAT. There's no better way to get uniform cookie size. This way you can put them on a plate and leave people wondering what superstar or bakery made your cookies...

If you’re wondering where to find the nifty 1 Tablespoon scoop, it’s quite affordable here on amazon.

I hope you try these cookies. I have had people who don’t like oatmeal cookies say they love these. Kids who didn’t even want to try them beg for more. You don’t EVEN have to tell people where you got the recipe. Take the credit for yourself.
