Are you tired of chemical filled fruit roll ups? Do you think they are too difficult to make? Well, worry no more. These perfected organic roll ups are an extremely easy to make organic snack! And quite delicious, too!
Since we have started eating organic foods, I have found that it can be quite hard to find organic treats. And if you do find them, they can be awfully expensive. Well, this is a huge problem for me. I like food… A LOT! But I don’t like to spend a bunch of money on it. So, I have been trying to find recipes I can make at home. Creating them yourself is also nice because you know what you are putting into the foods you are making and eating. You know those pesky chemicals aren’t making their way into your family’s bodies. As a side note, I feel one should be able to pronounce the name of everything going into their body!
Onto the Fruit Roll Ups

Tips for the Fruit Roll Ups
This recipe, not only easy to make, is also quite flexible. If your fruit is sweet, or you don’t care for sweet roll ups, you may not need to add any sweetener. Are they not sweet enough? You can add organic agave, honey, or sugar to reach desired sweetness. If you would like them a little tart, lemon juice can be added.
Tips for the Cooking
If you’d like to make a double batch, you will have to add about 1 to 1 1/2 hours to your bake time.
You can use parchment paper on your baking sheet, but it doesn’t work as well as the silicone baking mat. (Here is a link for the silicone baking mats). I love using these silicone baking mats, they work great! Nothing sticks to them and they are easy to clean!!
A Couple of Extra Tips
You can use organic ingredients or non-organic ingredients, depending on what you have or prefer.
You can probably use any type of fruit to make these fruit roll ups. I have made them using strawberries and cherries, and they have both turned out great!
