How Amazed Will You Be, You Ask?

This is how amazed; All you have to do is put your seven ingredients in a blender and blend them. Voila, you now have enchilada sauce ready to use in about 5 minutes! So, now I’m left uncertain as to which is the best part. Maybe it is that it can be made with all organic ingredients, but maybe not. Perhaps it’s because it comes without the organic enchilada sauce price tag!
If you happen to have a Vitamix for blending, you can even use fresh tomatoes out of your garden in place of opening a can!
How I Happened Upon This Organic Enchilada Sauce
I decided to look for a homemade enchilada sauce because I wanted to make something with enchilada sauce, and, as it should be obvious, I didn’t have any on hand that was organic. I keep thinking it’s all in my head, that when I eat organic I don’t get any migraines – that when, this is usually within minutes, I eat non organic I get one…
Anyway, I was surprised when I found such a quick and, even more importantly, simple recipe. Upon deciding to try it, to my happiness, it turned out great! I found the recipe here at Crunch Creamy Sweet.
Whether you just ran out of sauce and can’t make it to the store, or maybe haven’t been able to find organic enchilada sauce – Perhaps, you simply like to make your own. This is a great recipe to have on hand. No matter what, I hope you enjoy this organic enchilada sauce, like I do.

- 1/2 cup yellow onion roughly chopped
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 tablespoons Chili Powder
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 8 oz. cans tomato sauce or 1 15 oz. can
- 1 cup water or chicken stock
Ingredients

- Place all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until smooth. It will be thick. You can add more water or stock if you like thinner sauce.
