  1. Preheat Oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar, until smooth.
  3. Stir in the vanilla and eggs until well blended
  4. Stir in baking soda and salt
  5. Mix in the oats and flour until blended well.
  6. Add chips and raisins and mix until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheet, and bake for 9 to 10 minutes. I use a 1 tablespoon ice-cream style scoop.
  8. Let cool on cookie sheet for 1-2 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to completely cool.
Recipe Notes

Making perfect cookies requires perfect sizing. Dropping a tablespoon of dough can be a real pain without a 1 tablespoon ice-cream style scoop. I use mine all the time and it is GREAT.
